Who we are

SmartLogic SEO, Fyrrevej 7, 5591 Gelsted, Denmark ("SmartLogic SEO," "we," "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@smartlogicseo.com or +45 51 82 45 10.

What data we collect

We collect personal data you give us directly:

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), and the content of your message.
• Checkout: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name, billing address, postcode, city, country, and VAT/CVR number (optional, for EU business buyers).
• Cookies and analytics: see our Cookie Policy for full detail. Analytics data (Google Analytics 4) is only collected after you give consent.

We do not collect card or bank details. Checkout on this site currently runs in a demonstration mode — see our Terms of Service for detail.

Why we process it (lawful basis)

• Responding to enquiries submitted via the contact form: legitimate interest in running our business and responding to prospective clients (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Processing and fulfilling orders placed at checkout: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Analytics (Google Analytics 4): consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — only after you opt in via the cookie banner.
• Complying with Danish bookkeeping and tax law for invoices: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it

• Enquiry data: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
• Order and invoice data: retained for 5 years as required under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven).
• Analytics data: per Google Analytics 4's default retention settings, currently 14 months, and only collected once you've consented.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where necessary to run the site and the business:

• Our hosting provider, for storing and serving the site.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), only after you consent to analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
• Our email provider, for sending and receiving business correspondence.
• Where legally required — a Danish tax authority, court, or regulator.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

International transfers

Where a processor (such as Google) is based outside the EU/EEA, transfers are covered by that provider's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent EU-approved safeguard.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; request a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, via "Cookie settings" in the footer).
